Behind Enemy Lines:
CHANGE THE SCORE!
Revelation 12:12“Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and
the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that
his time is short.”
The devil thinks he owns you, but we know he doesn’t. He doesn’t own anything.
Revelation 1:18
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and
have the keys of hell and of death.”
What did Jesus do after He rose again?
He went down to Hell! They didn’t put that in the Passion of the Christ because it’s just too bad.

“You really think that nails were going to hold back the King of the universe?”
After Jesus storms into hell, Jesus grabs the keys from the devil. If your biggest enemy
came in to your house, after they died, grabbed the one thing that you thought you owned, and
then walked out. Tell me you would be able to sleep that night. Satan was scared out of his
mind, he thought he won. He thought wrong!
He took the keys that bound you. Anger. Lust. Alcohol. Drugs. Shame. He took those
keys and gave them to you so you could walk out of the chains that held you back from
having freedom.
keys and gave them to you so you could walk out of the chains that held you back from
having freedom.
Matthew 16:18(MSG)
“You didn't get that answer out of books or from teachers. My Father in heaven, God
himself, let you in on this secret of who I really am. And now I'm going to tell you who you are,
really are. You are Peter, a rock. This is the rock on which I will put together my church, a
church so expansive with energy that not even the gates of hell will be able to keep it out.”

Matthew 16:19(NIV)(MSG)
"And that's not all. You will have complete and free access to God's kingdom, keys to
open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A
yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven."
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be
bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
Once you know who God is in your life you then start to understand who you are
through Him.
through Him.
Unified: cords. When the chords to a song go perfectly together, it makes a beautiful song. But
if one note is out of tune, then it wouldn’t sound right. This is how the church should be. Unified,
making the most beautiful noise unto the Most High.
You make a sound that shatters the devils eardrums.
He doesn’t unlock the doors to what holds you back, He gives you the keys to unlock it yourself. Then you have the power to hand over the keys to someone else.
Jesus could have taken the ball and ran it Himself but He didn’t. He just guarded it,
waiting for you to come pick it up and run, and He’ll guard you the whole way.
Generations have come before us and have fumbled the ball, and Jesus protects it until the next one comes around to pick it back up.

John 15:16(NIV)
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit
that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.”
Proverbs 11:30(NLT)
“The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.”
Pick up the ball! Even though it’s going to be rough, hard, and troublesome.
If you’re going through that, then you’re near the end-zone. It’s always harder when you’re a lot closer to what God has in store for you. When you’re farther
away from the end-zone the enemy isn’t as worried
about you, once you get close, it becomes harder to change the score.
Pray for your schools, but most importantly, pray for people, by name, and believe that Jesus will intervene.

QUESTIONS:
1. What do you need to lock up and unlock in your life? Don’t allow the enemy to follow you
around anymore. Throw whatever it is back in the cage and lock the door.
2. Will you run with the ball or stand where you’re at? Either way the enemy is coming after
you. It would be easier to run with the ball.
3. Will you pray constantly for the people you named and put on the cross? Will you be the
person that shines the light of Christ in their lives?
